She-Ra by Aztarieth - coloured

Deviant Aztarieth has created an amazing She-Ra drawing ([link]) and a coloured version ([link]) but I wanted to have a go at adding colours myself to see if I could do the original justice.

She agreed that I could have a go at the work and this is the result.

Unfortunately my efforts didn't really work out as planned - the hair was just too complex for me to easily overlay colour in the way I had hoped and I reached the point where I was about to scrap the work and start again. In the end I decided to simply give her a bit of a hair cut which at least brought my version to a standard I'm happy to publish.
